NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Harvey, Cook County, Illinois, that sealed bids will be received for the project described in this advertisement.
Bids will be accepted until 9:59 a.m. CST on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Bids should be emailed to procurement@cityofharveyil.gov. Bids will be opened and publicly read at 10:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at City Hall.
The bidding forms and documents are available at City Hall located at 15320 Broadway Ave, Harvey, IL 60426, or by emailing procurement@cityofharveyil.gov. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid bond, cash, or certified check made payable to the City in the amount of not less than 5 percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into. This procurement covers the first phase of the City’s multi-phase Water System Improvement Project. The City may work with the selected Contractor to implement future project phases under this procurement.
