The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning have opened a portal for expression of interest in the next round of Homes for Changing a Region. The portal will remain opened until September 17th.
Assistance is free thanks to funding from IHDA. The assistance will develop short term housing action plans, which include a needs assessment with a data analysis, a local community survey, and an expert policy panel that covers 2-4 pressing housing issues.
MMC and CMAP can serve seven communities over two years. MMC and CMAP have been asked whether they can serve communities that have completed Homes plans, especially in those communities where a Homes plan has been completed but is now out of date. The answer is yes, and we encourage those interested to fill out the form here.
