Tinley Park will create a registry of foreclosed properties and contract with an outside firm to update ownership information about foreclosures, according to the village.
The registry is meant to help the village have current ownership information about foreclosures for building and property maintenance code issues.
The village is contracting with a Florida company, Property Registration Champions, or ProChamps, to establish the registry and keep tabs on ownership of foreclosures.
