On Aug. 17, U.S. Representative Robin Kelly, joined by Senator Dick Durbin,  NHS, SSLBDACCLBA  and SSMMA held a housing roundtable to discuss the relaunch of the Hardest Hit Fund in Illinois. They shared information on how struggling homeowners can take advantage of this federal program, and heard testimony from south suburban residents who used the program to save their homes from foreclosure. More photos are here.

We thank all who came out in support of this potentially game-changing programming event for the region including SSMMA President and Park Forest Mayor John Ostenburg, Dolton Mayor Riley Rogers, Country Club Hills Mayor James Ford, municipal representatives and local residents.
