RHOPI invites all to their 2013 Regional Home Ownership Preservation Annual Forum, “Innovative Collaborations to Revitalize Communities.”
Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 10 am-4 pm Ralph Metcalf Federal Building 77 West Jackson Blvd, 3rd Floor Conference Center, Chicago
From neighborhoods to banks and nonprofits to governments, the fallout from the foreclosure crisis takes a toll on a broad range of stakeholders. These groups, however, don’t always work together to promote housing market recovery. How can organizations from diverse sectors overcome barriers and collaborate to achieve the best outcomes for communities? Innovative Collaborations to Revitalize Communities will feature examples of collaborations between governments, nonprofits, universities, and businesses that help bring communities back from the devastation from the foreclosure crisis. Speakers include Alan Berube of the Brookings Institution (co-author of the recently released Confronting Suburban Poverty in America) and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. More information on panelists will be released closer to the event. Save the date and register today!
