November 2023 - EPA Water Infrastructure Workshop and Resources

On November 7, 2023, SSMMA hosted a Water Infrastructure Workshop with municipal representatives attending. The workshop consisted of discussions and presentations on significant resources available to address water infrastructure needs as provided by the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law as well as special emphasis on options for lead service line inventories and replacements. Cook County Bureau of Asset Management also shared information about new ARPA resources available through their Build Up Cook program.
