Country Club Hills awarded $200k Safe Routes to School grant

The Illinois Department of Transportation has awarded the

City of Country Club Hills with a $200,000 Safe Route to Schools grant for new sidewalks, sidewalk gap closures, sidewalk curb ramps and flashing beacons at Nob Hill Elementary, Meadowview Intermediate, Zenon Sykuta Elementary and Southwood Middle School.

The next Funding Cycle for Illinois Safe Routes to School is anticipated to take place in the fall of 2020.
