March 15: Congresswoman Kelly Hosts Housing Expo to Assist Homeowners and First-time Buyers

Congresswoman Robin Kelly will host a Housing Expo to help homeowners with loan modifications and property tax appeals on Saturday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Victory Apostolic Church, 20801 Matteson Ave., Matteson. Current homeowners will have the opportunity to speak directly to lenders about loan modifications. The event will also inform first-time homebuyers about down-payment assistance programs. In addition, exhibitors will offer rental information and resources. The Expo’s 20 exhibitors will include the Cook County Board of Review, Chase, Bank America, Wells Fargo, Habitat for Humanity, Kankakee Housing Authority, CEDA, Neighborhood Housing Services and St. Paul VA Regional Loan Center.
