Housing appears priority for former Mental Health Center site in Tinley Park

Tinley Park officials envision a “community within a community” on land formerly occupied by the Tinley Park Mental Health Center and Howe Developmental Center.

But seeing that vision become reality is going to be a lengthy and costly process, although village officials feel confident it won’t mean higher tax bills for residents.
