Ground broken on $11M senior living center in Thornton

It’s been almost a decade in the making, but a major milestone was reached Thursday as ground was broken on ThornCreek Senior Living Center.

Officials from Weiss Properties and various government agencies who helped fund the project met at the future site of the complex at 400 E. Margaret St. They dipped silver shovels into the ground where 46 seniors will reside next fall…Please click here to read David P. Funk’s story in the Times.
