The Millennium Reserve Executive Committee seeks a full-time experienced senior program manager to provide leadership and support for priority project identification and implementation, stakeholder engagement, partner relations, and committee functions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can demonstrate ability to perform the job duties with a high degree of independence and minimal day-to-day oversight. Direction will be provided in terms of goals, objectives, and outcomes and the incumbent will be responsible for using independent judgment in identifying the best strategies for achieving these. Responsibilities:
• Help inspire a climate for meaningful participation by collaborating with Millennium Reserve work groups, committee members, and other partners and key stakeholders to enhance their roles and impact • Provide direction and support for work group, committee, and partner recruitment process • Provide direction and facilitation for priority project committees and facilitate communication and information sharing among projects and partners • Facilitate the identification of new priority project opportunities among steering committee members, partners, and stakeholders • Facilitate the development of Millennium Reserve annual and strategic communications plans • In coordination with Communication Subcommittee members, assist with development and maintenance of promotional and communication materials, and related strategies and vehicles (e.g., website, printed materials, maps) • Coordinate efforts with the Illinois State Agency Task Force. • Create and clearly communicate partner participation opportunities and guidelines • Staff the Millennium Reserve Steering Committee, Executive Committee, Project Committees, Communications Subcommittee, and Wayfinding Work Group:
o Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities. o Prepare meeting minutes, meeting notes and internal support materials. o Maintain records.
