Village of Flossmoor, Illinois (population 9,468), a progressive, mature full service south suburban community of the Chicago metropolitan area, seeks two (2) Part-time Property Maintenance Inspectors to perform exterior inspections of both residential and commercial properties to ensure compliance with the adopted codes of the Village.  This position involves routine contact with all Village departments and the public.  Prior code enforcement experience is strongly desired with the ability to attain International Code Council certification as a property maintenance inspector within 6 months of hire. Weekend hours are required during the peak construction season though a flexible schedule is possible.
