The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity is offering rebates to cover 50% of equipment and installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations which have been purchased and installed between August 29, 2013 – April 16, 2015. The maximum possible total rebate award is $50,000. Eligible applicants for this rebate program include units of government, businesses, educational institutions, non-profits, and individual residents. Applications are due April 16, 2015.
