The Village of Matteson is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Worker for
the Public Works Department. The hours of operation are from 7:00am –
3:30pm. This is skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work. Work
involves performance of a variety of tasks in the maintenance, repair and
construction of Village streets, water and sewer systems, water meters, traffic
lighting, fire hydrants, trees and related public work projects using a variety of
equipment, including but not limited to backhoe/loader, excavator, skid steer,
pay loaders, aerial equipment, sewer vactor/jetter, snow removal equipment,
chipper/shredder, stump grinder, chainsaws, and concrete/asphalt saws.
