The Master of Public Administration program at the University of Illinois –Chicago is now accepting proposals for projects for the spring 2016 MPA Capstone Course.
In this course, student teams work on “real world” projects for government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Projects on which UIC students have worked in the past have included included an analysis of parking revenues and fees for the Village of Glen Ellyn and the design of a volunteer-based transportation service for the elderly for the Council on Jewish Elderly. Earlier projects have included an assessment of the KnowHow2Go campaign for the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and the development of a plan for the use of social networking tools to build awareness of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore for the National Park Service.
Another past project was management reporting for the City of Oak Forest.
