Trading Storm Water: MWRD's Pilot Project & Storm Store™ Support

Join the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD), the Metropolitan Planning Council, and The Nature Conservancy on October 14th for an informational panel on the MWRD's storm water detention and volume control trading pilot program.

Gain insights into how this innovative program may help your clients save money while providing other community benefits, too. Designed for civil engineers, but free and open to the public, this event will showcase the pilot program and answer questions about what projects are a good fit. It will also describe the pro-bono support available through the Storm Store partnership.

This virtual event features:

  • Welcoming remarks by The American Society of Civil Engineers

  • Presentations by Michael Zigulich (Metropolitan Water Reclamation District), Jen Jenkins (The Nature Conservancy), and Ryan Wilson (The Metropolitan Planning Council)

  • A moderated audience-generated Q&A with Saki Handa
