Tinley Park makes Lucas museum pitch

The words may smack of George Lucas, but the playbook is pure Ed Zabrocki.

Tinley Park Mayor Dave Seaman borrowed a tactic from his predecessor last week, sending a letter to a high-profile potential resident of the village’s 280-acre parcel of land at the corner of 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue.

“Long, long ago, in a village not too far away …” begins the missive addressed to Star Wars creator Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in Nicasio, Calif.
