Story map is a great guide to the region’s sites

You’re exploring the sights of the region and need some information about where to go. Where can you go to get a bite to eat or a drink in Blue Island? Where can you go to learn more about the history and culture of Bronzeville? What can you see at Beaubien Woods? What if you want to see some landmarks of the region’s industrial legacy?

Answers to these questions are a click or two away. Millennium Reserve has just introduced an online story map, a tool that makes exploring the region’s communities, commerce and environment considerably easier. The story map is an interactive website tool that offers a convenient way to help plan a day – or just learn more about 50 or so sites in the region.  Just click on the story map and you can be linked to images, brief descriptions and website links to a wide variety of sites. Navigate your way around the region, click on a site and learn about a range of places to visit. By clicking on a button, you can also quickly get a view of the whole region – or reduce the image until a detailed, street-by-street view of a community is in front of you.
