New! COVID-19 Demographics Dashboard

The COVID-19 Demographic Breakdown Dashboard is designed to help communities understand who and how the novel coronavirus is impacting their community. The data, housed in IDPH, is retrieved and organized for easy-access and easy-to-understand visualization for each municipality. COVID-19 statistics are broken down by age, race, and gender, for each ZIP code that encompasses the SSMMA region. COVID-19 proportions can also be compared between SSMMA communities using the supplementary map. Perhaps the most unique aspect of the breakdown is the timeseries, developed from an archive of the retrieved IDPH COVID-19 data. This timeseries can assist municipalities in identifying temporal trends at the local scale.
