Please join us in welcoming SSMMA Planning Intern Imene Haddad. She will be responsible for collecting and analyzing housing and South Suburban Land Bank and Development Authority (SSLBDA) data; researching housing trends and planning initiatives; updating donated property records for SSLBDA; providing planning technical assistance and more.
Ms. Haddad is currently a graduate student at The University of Illinois at Chicago and plans to receive her degree in Urban Planning and Policy in the fall of this year. As a graduate of the School of Architecture and urban planning in Algiers, she has an urban planning and architectural background; with an emphasis on urban planning and development issues. She has also been working towards Geospatial analysis certification and would like to pursue a career in the field.
Last summer, Imene had an internship with Brick partners LLC, assisting with planning and administrative activities related to affordable housing issues, data analysis and research projects.
She hopes to work in the field of Urban Planning and Policy after graduation. We are so pleased to have Imene join our team!
