Please join SSMMA as we welcome GIS Analyst Freddy Segura. Before coming to SSMMA, Freddy served as a Cartographer at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, where he also interned as a GIS Specialist. Prior to that, he served as a GIS Specialist Intern for the City of DeKalb and the DeKalb Sycamore Area Transportation Study. Mr. Segura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Northern Illinois University and is bilingual – fluent in both English and Spanish. He resides in the City of Elgin, and in his spare time, Freddy hangs out with his Beagle-Scottish Terrier mix, Mila, and cycles along the 606 Bloomingdale Trail and Chicago’s lakefront.
