SSMMA meeting cancellations

SSMMA is closely monitoring events surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus) public health emergency and recommendations which include social distancing as a safeguard to slow the spread of the virus. Governor Pritzker’s current Stay at Home Executive Order is through April 30, 2020.

In consideration of the safety of our members, the following meetings have been cancelled:

April 7 – Transportation Committee

April 9 – Housing Collaborative

April 16 – Watershed Planning Council

April 16 – Business Meeting

April 29 – Springfield Lobby Day – Any rooms reserved at the Wyndham under the SSMMA block have been automatically cancelled.

Meetings moved to conference calls:

April 6 – Management & Finance Committee

April 21 – TAG Committee

Also note: With the suspension of the General Assembly session, weekly legislative calls are put on hold until further notice. If there is legislative activity that impacts the Southland, we will keep you informed.
