On October 15, 2020, SSMMA unanimously passed Resolution 2020-004 urging the Illinois Gaming Board to expedite a decision on the South Suburban Cook County Casino License. The Resolution was a result of our collective concern that there has not been a decision made by the Illinois Gaming Board to date in favor of any one of the south suburban applicants vying for the license named in Public Act 100-0031, Section 7 (e-5) 5. The scheduled deadline for a decision is October 26, 2020. Read the letter sent to the Gaming board.
