Time to Plan for the April 24 NWMC Surplus Vehicle and Equipment Auction Please remember to line up your municipality’s surplus vehicles and equipment for sale at the next NWMC Surplus Vehicle and Equipment Auction! The auction will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at America’s Auto Auction in Crestwood. If you can’t make the April event, the other live auction dates for 2018 are Tuesday, July 24 and Tuesday, October 23. The NWMC agreement with America’s Auto Auction also provides for year round Internet sales, so participants do not have to wait for one of the quarterly live sales in order to dispose of surplus vehicles and equipment. SPC Extends Janitorial Supplies Contract The Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) Governing Board has awarded the first of three possible, one-year contract extensions for janitorial supplies (Contract #167) to Laport, Inc. of Chicago, with no price increases. The contract extension runs from February 21, 2018 through February 20, 2019. NWMC Extends Surplus Vehicle & Equipment Auction Agreement The Northwest Municipal Conference Board of Directors approved the third of four (4) possible, one-year contract extensions on the Agreement for Auctioneer Services with America’s Auto Auction from February 15, 2018 through February 14, 2019. The NWMC is the lead agency for the contract, which also includes the DuPage Mayors & Managers Conference (DMMC), South Suburban Mayors & Managers Association (SSMMA) and Metro West Council of Government.
All members are encouraged to participate in the remaining 2018 surplus vehicle and equipment auctions on following dates: April 24; July 24; and, October 23.
