SPC Extends 2019 Ford Transit Van Contract with Price Increase The Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) Governing Board has approved the second of three possible, one-year contract extensions on the 2019 Ford Transit Van (Contract #150) to Currie Motors of Frankfort. The contract contains an $800.00 price increase from $20,948.00 to $21,748.00. The SPC continues to enjoy excellent vehicle pricing on this vehicle as the retail price is $31,312.00, or $9,664.00 higher than the SPC contract price. The duration of the contract extension is September 15, 2018 through September 14, 2019 and the SPC reserves the right to extend this contract for one additional one-year term upon mutual agreement of both the vendor and the SPC on a negotiated basis. July 24 Surplus Vehicle and Equipment Auction Results Are In Thank you to the participants in Tuesday’s auction at America’s Auto Auction in Crestwood. Country Club Hills, Deerfield, Elburn, Evanston, Highland Park, LaGrange Park, North Aurora and Wheaton sold 24 units for $138,650 with brisk bidding from the floor and online bidders. A 2004 International 4000-series truck with a floor price of $25,000 sold for $30,500; a 2003 Sterling L-Series truck listed for $4,000 sold for $17,000; and a 2001 International 7000 –series truck with a floor price of $4,000 sold for $23,750! Plan to get in on the excitement on Tuesday, October 23, which will be the last auction of 2018.
