L-R: Melissa Doud of SSMMA, Ellen Dayan of the Northwest Municipal Conference and Kate Brodlo from the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference at the IML Annual Conference SPC vendor booth

There was plenty of traffic at the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) booth at last week’s Illinois Municipal League (IML) conference. Six SPC vendors were there promoting their programs including Call One; Currie Motors; Foster Coach; Fire Service, Inc.; Laport; and Standard Equipment. Ellen Dayan from the Northwest Municipal Conference, Suzette Quintell and Kate Brodlo from the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference and Melissa Doud from the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association helped staff the booth and promote the SPC. In addition, they introduced SPC to hundreds of new potential customers, who are now aware of the cooperative purchasing contracts they can utilize to help their governments save time and money.
