The Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (SPC) Governing Board has awarded the second of three possible contract extensions to Currie Motors of Frankfort for the 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan and the 2014 Ford Police Interceptor Utility. The contract extension will run from November 9, 2013 through November 8, 2014. Ford Motor Company has increased prices on the 2014 SPC contract base models as follows, with option pricing remaining the same: Ford Sedan # 121Ford Utility #122Police Interceptor AWDPolice Interceptor K8A AWDSPC Award Price$22,986.00$24,558.00Cost Increase$ 225.00$ 242.002014 Price$23,211.00$24,800.00
It should be noted that Ford’s base prices for non-SPC contract participants are $3,177.00 higher for the Sedan and $3,438 higher on the Utility, even with the proposed 2014 price increases.
