North Ave.Elmhurst, IL (NW corner of Route 83 and North Avenue) The TMA’s inaugural Mayors for Manufacturing Summit is a great opportunity to learn more about the importance of manufacturing, both in our economy and your local community. This new group will bring together the leaders of municipalities and manufacturers to discuss ways to create better businesses, better jobs and better communities. The Summit will kick off at 3 pm with panel discussions on state and federal tax policies and regulations, workforce development, and how local governments and manufacturers can partner to improve the quality of life in a community. The panel discussions will be followed by a social hour at 5 pm, with dinner at 6 pm. Municipalities and members of their leadership teams are welcome to participate in the entire event at no cost.
