Ground has been broken on a project that will add 348,000 square feet of production and logistics space to the existing Winpak Portion Packaging plant at 111 Winpak Way off of Mark Collins Drive near Sauk Trail. The current plant is a 267,000 square-foot facility.
“This is really a shot in the arm for this industrial site,” Sauk Village President David Hanks said. “But it’s not just for Sauk Village, this is really a shot in the arm for the South Suburbs.”
