This week, Sauk Village Mayor David Hanks appointed Tim Holevis as the town’s new police chief. According to a Facebook posting, Chief Holevis has been an integral part of the Sauk Village Police Department for 28 years and has held every position within the Department including Undercover Narcotics, Chief of Detectives and Interim Chief of Police for 18 months.
