The Village of Richton Park is looking for a Recreation Coordinator to plan, organize, and supervise recreational programs and special events for the Village of Richton Park’s Community Services Department. Download the job posting here.
This is a full time position under the direct supervision of the Director of Community Services. The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in recreation or a related field with a minimum of two years’ experience in recreation leadership with supervisory capabilities. Daily tasks will include, but not limited to:
– Initiate, plan and administer diversified programs suited to the needs of the community. – Promote, organize and stimulate good relationships with community and other interested groups and with other agencies serving the area. – Implement safety rules, regulations, training, and philosophy throughout all facets of operations. – Assist in the development of new programs with the Community Services Director. – Develop brochures, flyers, and marketing materials for distribution.
