The South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association (SSMMA) is soliciting proposals for a planning consultant (or a partnership of consultants) to conduct a transportation, land use and economic development study of the Illinois Route 394 and Illinois Route 1 corridor. Timeline: A non-mandatory, pre-bid information session will be held on Wednesday, December 4 at 10:00 AM at the SSMMA offices, 1904 W. 174th Street, East Hazel Crest, IL 60429. November 18, 2013 – issue RFP December 4, 2013 – Pre-bid informational session at SSMMA December 19, 2013 – Proposals due Early January, 2014 – Interview consultants (if necessary) Late January, 2014 – Award contract
