The City of Harvey and the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association (SSMMA) invites qualified contractors to provide bids for conducting cleanup of stockpiled soil and debris waste material at the Harvey Intermodal Site (301 East 152nd Street). The proposed cleanup plan includes removal and offsite disposal of stockpiled waste debris material. The proposed cleanup activities would be funded under a Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Loan Agreement (#BF965250-01-4) between the City of Harvey and the SSMMA, who manages the RLF, executed September 14, 2015. The Remediation Contractor Request for Proposal and documentation is available for review at the City of Harvey Public Library (15441 Turlington Avenue, Harvey, IL, 60426), on the City of Harvey website (www.cityofharvey.org) and the SSMMA’s website (www.ssmma.org). An onsite pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 19, 2016 at 11:00AM.
