The question at our table was to choose a problem affecting the south suburbs and figure out how it could be solved.
Where do we start? Jobs, of course. Jobs mean that a skilled work force is available, and that, in turn, involves preparation and training.
So we focused the discussion on teaching needed technical and vocational competence to students, how it can be done and why it is so desperately needed for the future of the south suburbs.
