Orland Park, Tinley Park want a shot at new Amazon HQ

Orland Park and Tinley Park think they are prime locations for Amazon’s second headquarters.

Those suburbs are among towns large and small around the country hoping to have a shot at landing what the online retailing behemoth calls HQ2.

Chicago and Gary, Ind., are among cities locally that are vying for the corporate plum, which could ultimately bring 50,000 well-paid workers to whatever city gets the nod from Seattle-based Amazon…Please click here to read Mike Nolan’s story in the Tribune/Daily Southtown.
