Northwest Indiana plans first annual World Civility Day in April

Community Civility Counts — an initiative that began nearly a year ago when representatives of the Gary Chamber of Commerce and The Times Media Co. unveiled the logo, the #CivilityCounts hashtag and the mission, “Together we win” — is planning a signature event in the Region.

World Civility Day will be celebrated April 14 at the Majestic Star Casino with a #CivilityCounts program, entertainment and buffet dinner. This event will be just three weeks before Indiana’s May 3 primary, and they’ll invite office holders and candidates to join them in promoting civil discourse…Please click here to read the full story in the Times of Northwest Indiana.
