New vehicle test sites coming to Southland

While the upcoming closing of a vehicle emissions testing station in Tinley Park will likely inconvenience some drivers, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency says that new inspection and repair facilities that are coming should help.

Addresses for the three inspection and repair facilities that will be in the south and southwest suburbs — Homer Glen, Park Forest and Peotone — won’t be available until after the end of this month.
