The almost three-year-long process to bring emergency dispatching services for 31 fire and police agencies under one roof was realized Monday with most of the dispatchers for the new consolidated center in Joliet moved in and taking calls.
On Monday, Frankfort-based Lincolnway Public Safety Communications Center had officially moved into the new center housed in the $33 million Will County Public Safety Complex — along with the Will County Sheriff’s Department and Emergency Telephone System Board offices — on Laraway Road and Route 52…Please click here for Sarwat S.
