On June 17, Cam Davis, Commissioner with Metropolitan Water Reclamation District’s board, gave a short update to SSMMA about the agency’s twin missions of stormwater management to reduce flooding and improving water quality. He mentioned efforts to assist communities disproportionately impacted by flooding in Cook County. Though time did not allow for him to detail workforce development, funding opportunities, and other agency updates, SSMMA members are encouraged to reach out to his office at davisc@mwrd.org or walkerd@mwrd.org.
