We applaud recent advocacy efforts that support enhanced public transportation on Chicago’s South Side and southern suburbs as noted in (the Chicago Tribune’s) July 22 editorial “South Side’s transit desert” because we, too, believe that access to efficient mass transit has the ability to drive economic growth.
