Litttle League International, the predominant kids baseball organization worldwide, is looking for a new home for its Central Region headquarters in Indianapolis.

What better place than the Chicago area? After all, Chicago is right in the middle of the Central Region, which covers 13 states from the Dakotas to Ohio and Michigan to Kansas. And Chicago is undoubtedly the baseball capital of the universe these days, with the Cubs winning the World Series every year for the last one, and the White Sox — sporting the best collection of top prospects since, well, the Cubs a few years ago — with a chance of winning the series at least every decade this millennium…Please click here to read the Daily Southtown Editorial Board’s opinion piece.
