Follow this pathway to sustainability at MELA Conference 2015 which features discussions on partnering with nature, mimicking natural systems for sustainable results and using nature as a guide to create outdoor spaces which are good for plant communities, wildlife, people and the planet.

Stormwater Management Highlighted at mela:: The Conference 2015 This year’s Conference keynote speaker is Debra Shore, a Commissioner of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC), who opens the Conference with a profile of stormwater management in Chicagoland. She’ll explore some ideas for steps you can take to help mitigate the issues of flooding by working together, and will fill you in with her recommendations for working with the MWRDGC, the Illinois agency charged with managing water in most of Cook County.
