The Village of Lansing hosted Chicago Southland Economic Development Corporation’s Fall Quarterly Forum at the Historic Ford Hangar on October 26 where more than 130 attended. Speakers introduced guests to the history of the Lansing Municipal Airport and the Hangar and provided updates on economic and infrastructure progress within the Village of Lansing as well as other South Suburban regional information. Presenters included Lansing Mayor Patty Eidam, Village Administrator Dan Podgorski, former Lansing Municipal Airport Manager John DeLaurentiis, Publicity Works Owner/Operator Delmarie Cobb, LB Steel Vice President David Abshire, OAI, Inc. Executive Director Mollie Dowling and CSEDC Executive Director Reggie Greenwood. CSEDC Board Chairman Michael Scholefield was the emcee. We thank the Village of Lansing for hosting this event and all who participated in the great presentations.
