A new filing of alternate routes for the proposed Great Lakes Basin Transportation’s freight rail bypass around Chicago shows some tweaks and modifications.
The only significant change is a proposed alternative that may take the rail line north of Lowell.
The federal Surface Transportation Board released the filings, along with several attachments, Thursday morning.
