Funding opportunity: Landmarks Illinois Grants
St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Country Club Hills, constructed of Joliet Limestone in 1873, was awarded a Preservation Heritage grant of $4,000 this year.
Do you have sites or structures in your community that you’d like to preserve for future generations because they are of historical or architectural significance, but are under threat of demolition or imminent deterioration? If so, Landmarks Illinois may be able to provide some grant assistance. Landmarks Illinois offers grants through the Preservation Heritage Fund and the Barbara C. and Thomas E. Donnelley II Preservation Fund. Read more. The application deadline for both grants is November 15.
