Get outside and discover the south side’s natural and cultural treasures this summer! With maps, photos, and detailed descriptions of regional highlights, the FREE “Explore Millennium Reserve and Greater Calumet Region: A Natural and Cultural Guide to the Region from Bronzeville to the Indiana Dunes” is a great resource for anyone who wants to see, smell, touch, and enjoy the great places we have here on the south side. It showcases historic sites like Pullman, features a variety of restaurants and other pit stops, and highlights the best places for hiking, biking, birding, boating, fishing, and more. There are finding charts, pull out maps, stories, and special features. There is also a calendar of fun things to do by month.
