Former Sauk Village Mayor /SSMMA President Roger G. Peckham passes away

Mr. Peckham passed away peacefully on July 16, 2018. He served as Sauk Villages mayor from 1997 to 2009, completing three terms and was SSMMA’s president during the 2003-2004 term.  Roger was also a former treasurer and president of the District 168 Sauk Village School Board, former trustee, he served on Board at Illiana Credit Union, and was an auditor for the Indiana Department of Revenue for over 32 years.

He was the beloved husband of Kristie Peckham nee Lightfoot. Loving father of Michael (Stacey) Peckham and Mathew (Lauren) Peckham. Cherished grandfather of Connor, Owen, Mason, and Chase Peckham.
