The South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Homewood Mayor Peter “Andy” Lindstrom, and extends our sympathy and condolences to the family, friends, and Village of Homewood.

Peter Andrew Lindstrom, a man highly active in the village of Homewood, has died. He was 66.
Lindstrom was a lifelong Homewood resident who served in a number of roles, according to an obituary from the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home. Among them were village president and trustee, with the Homewood Chamber of Commerce and as a coach and umpire for Homewood Baseball and Softball. Read more.
