ALL local and national forecasts have indicated that a Sever Weather Alert has been issued for North East Illinois – including Cook, Will and DuPage Counties – from Tuesday through Thursday.
Depending where you live, the temperatures could reach record cold with wind chills of -50 degrees!
Please do all that you can to stay warm this week. Stay inside if possible. Cover up if you do have to go outside- frostbite can occur in only a few minutes. Be careful with the use of space heaters and do not use an open flame to warm up any frozen pipes.
Check on your neighbors, especially our seniors!
