Employment opportunity: Tinley Park assistant director of public works
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Public Administration, Business Management or field closely related and minimum three (3) to five (5) years progressively responsible supervisory experience in Public Works; Master’s degree, desirable;
• Possession of Professional Engineering License from the State of Illinois, desirable;
• Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• Valid driver’s license, Class B CDL.
Residency Requirement: All full-time employees, as a condition of employment and continued employment, are required to reside within the planning area as defined in the Village’s comprehensive plan within twelve (12) months of the date of hire.
Salary Range: $96,458 – $125,892 plus generous benefit package including health/dental insurance, IMRF, Life Insurance and other optional programs including deferred compensation.
